The University offers three semesters (winter, spring, and fall) instead of the standard two semesters which is known as a “three-track system” and the school has thirty-three departments, offering over eighty-seven bachelor-level programs and twenty associate-degree programs. Due to the affiliation with the LDS, the school regularly brings in guest speakers, and a devotional is hosted every Tuesday for students to attend.

Madison high school has a great reputation for its college preparatory classes along with its teachers. The school offers 28 different clubs and activities for students to join, along with 13 different sports options ranging from golf to basketball.
The school has a great student-to-teacher ratio of 19 to 1 and they even have a student-led media reporting team that produces quality content for their Bobcat Beat website.

One of the best schools in Rexburg is Burton Elementary and it’s been rated very highly for its teachers. Serving pk- grade 4, the school has a student-to-teacher ratio of 22 to 1 and they score above average for state testing.

The museum is situated on the bottom floor of a local historical building and it carries many relics and artifacts from the history of the town. The Teton Dam flood was a large part of the legacy of the town and the museum includes the original water line from the flooding to show visitors how high the waters became.
They also feature a children’s museum that hosts rotating interactive crafts for kids, along with a sand table and a scavenger hunt. The cost of admission is $2 which is a great price for an afternoon filled with fun and history.

The Legacy Flight Museum was founded in 2006 by John Bagley who had a vision of getting up close and personal with some of the best planes flown by the US military. They feature 9 aircraft along with several old model cars in a large warehouse for visitors to tour.
Some of the aircraft featured are the Mormon Mustang, the SNB-5 Beechcraft, Ole Yeller, a North American T-6 Texan, a Boeing Stearman, a Grumman S-2 Tracker, an O-1 Bird Dog, a P-63 King Cobra, and a model of a Duplex-Cyclone Engine.

One of the most unique parks in the city is located far away from the traffic noises of the city in a tranquil area near the South Fork of the Tenton River. The spot is known by locals as a place for runners to enjoy some peace and a place for local anglers to catch some fish. The area has a playground for kids along with covered picnic tables, a disc golf course, and a skate park.
